Elaine, so happy to hear that your thumb is healing well. I don't

think I want to use my skill saw again. I just keep it around in case

someone else needs to use it! Don't expect to hear about SSD until a

full five months have elapsed from time of filing. Are you still

driving the school bus? How do you like your scooter and what brand

and model did MDA procure for you? I picked up an Invacare Zoom III

from the MDA loan closet, but did not like it and did not keep it.

No I am not driving the school bus any more. In fact not since December. In

fact since my thumb accident, I have not been able o work. There is no

disability and I am living on the kindness of those I worked with. The rotary

has

helped me some, but it is tough. I might have to sell my home of 32 years in

order to make it, but I believe I well be ok for a little while longer. I

found on the web a company in Oklahma for scooters. The same one here was close

to $4,000 so I ordered it from a company in Oklahoma delivered to my door for

$1995.

Its a Pace Saver, and i love it.
