From the Reuters article cited by natural news, "Comparing the kids who got pertussis to the more than 22,000 kids in the medical center's database who didn't, Witt's group wrote in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases that the vaccine is effective about half of the time for all kids, and just 24 percent of the time in the eight to 12 year old age group."Of course the vaccine producer says its 85% effective or thereabouts.50% effective is really really low in my opinion. I didnt realize how very ineffective it was.Jen Flick in PASent from my iPhoneOn Apr 4, 2012, at 10:40 PM, Vicki Geraci <vicki.geraci@...> wrote:

I know, it's really hard to conceive that you are risking your child's life for something that is that unlikely to work (if you even believe they do at all). And 50% effective doesn't mean within a person. It means that 50 out of 100 people are not going to have a speck of "protection."
