Our " experts " are finally coming clean about statin drugs: They

can cause diabetes and memory loss. My mother-in-law suffered a serious,

acute, memory problem while being on Lipitor, so this really hits home.

Many times people with memory problems are then diagnosed with

Alzheimer's, and put on all sorts of debilitating, quality of life

killing, and life-ending drugs.

Now the question is: what are they going to do about it? Pull them all?

Stop approving cholesterol-reducing drugs altogether? Or produce more and

newer ones, with doctors pooh-poohing side effects as being rare and

" nothing they ever see in their practices " --just as with

vaccines?

Oh, well, looky here: " Diabetes patients and even those who develop

diabetes while taking statins should continue taking the medicines, said

Dr. Nissen, chairman of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland

Clinic, who has studied the medicines extensively. “These are not major

issues, and they really do not alter the decision-making process with

regard to statins,” Dr. Nissen said.
