Guest guest
I dunno, I think for this I might take the tetanus shot. What happens if you get tetanus? Doesn't your jaw lock up and there is no cure? Hmm...This is tough.
Guest guest
Dear Vilik, Tetanus is borne in animal feces and the like. If you stepped on a nail in a barnyard you might consider it. Otherwise their noxious potion is worse than the disease. Just treat the cut with H2O2 and soak it to keep it clean. And put some ozonated olive oil on it, and bandage with gauze. Tetanus won't have a chance. Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh URL: http://www.plasmafire.com email: saul@... Guest guest
Vilik, Do I have thoughts on the subject? I can't shut them off! I used to take drugs to slow them down or make them entertaining. ~^^V^^~, you know I have thoughts on EVERYTHING! (It's just that some of them are worthless! ;-) There were times when I was younger that I allowed my tetanus shots to lapse.... every chance I could get, as I avoid vaccines also. Sometimes I feel I'll trust in Creation, my kharma, my health, my luck. Sometimes, I've taken the shot. Now, I trust vaccines even less. One never knows what monkey viruses are being passed around. I don't want to be accused of being bigoted againsts monkeys, but I prefer not to share my blood products with sick ones! Quite frankly, I prefer not to share my blood products with monkeys under ANY circumstances! I'm not crazy. It's just a YUCCHHHY idea in the first place! You feel the same. When I last rolled a car 3 years ago I had a mild concussion (I was a little dopey for three days). The officer at the scene couldn't understand why, since I felt I had a concussion, I refused to go to the hospital? I explained that if I went, they would give me a MRI or CAT scan, or whatever. And, if they found something they felt was bad they would want to operate. And, I would use deadly force to prevent anyone cutting into my brain, no matter what! And, it was easier to prevent their getting control over me before I went into the hospital than after! ;-) Been to vegas lately? Are you a gambler at all? (Of COURSE you are!) Did you at least soak the injured area in peroxide? A lot!? Did you take leaf mold from the forest floor, mix it with spider's web from the ubiquitous golden orb, and make a poultice for your wound like they did in about 20 movies and 100 TV shows?? Is your immune system healthy? Are you healthy lately? Are you paranoid lately? Vilik, the more I try to confuse you the more I realize you haven't given me enough information to do so! ;-) Please explain! jim Vilik Rapheles wrote: > > This morning I cut my hand with a sharp knife at the kitchen counter > (clean knife) and went to the emergeny room for stitches. Guest guest
Vilik- Did you take the little brown bottle of 3% H2O2 out of your cabinet, and pour it on the cut before you went to the hospital? Or, if you really wanted to hit it hard, and shiver a little while it really stings you could use 35%. It will all be pink the next day or so. I don't think anything that is nasty will survive that. And look ma, no scars. And then pack the wound with cayenne to stop the bleeding? If you did, what tetanus were they taking about? Blessings, Zell
Guest guest
Hi, all.Just wondering what your favorite resources for tetanus resources are. My parents (who are in general supportive of us not vaccinating, even though they are in the medical field) claim that tetanus is the one vaccine they wish their grandchildren had. So, I am feeling the need to educate them about why it doesn't work and why it's not too dangerous to get the disease. Thanks,
Guest guest
I agree, it is different than a disease such as measles or the flu because it's not communicable. But you can get tetanus repeatedly because there is no natural immunity from getting it once. Therefore, a vaccine cannot claim to do more than what happens naturally. I know Sheri has a lot of info on this which I'm sure she'll pass on. Plus, it is important to keep in mind that every vaccine can cause serious side effects, including death--which is presumably what one is trying to prevent. Here are a couple sources of info: (http://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-diseases/Tetanus.aspx) (http://www.whale.to/a/tetanus.html) Winnie tetanus"vaccinations " > Hi, all.> > Just wondering what your favorite resources for tetanus > resources are.
