Guest guest
I was getting 30 c, but I began to read your notes saying 200c though I will have to go out and get them. Thinking because of stringy ropey mucous that it might be this one.. #Coccus cacti. [Coc-c] This remedy has paroxysms of cough with vomiting of clear, ropy mucus, extending in thick, long strings even to the floor. This is sometimes seen in children who cough and cough with this tenacious mucus stringing from mouth and nose, waving to and fro until it finally gives way. The paroxysms come on in the morning, and accompanying them there is often vomiting of a clear, ropy mucus. Eructations of wind following cough are an indication for Ambra grisea. Coccus is a useful remedy for the protracted bronchial catarrhs remaining after whooping cough. The excessive secretion of mucus under Coccus is marked and causes the child to strangle. The choking is most characteristic, even more so than the strangling. I haven't had a chance to finish reading and I don't yet have that remedy...so giving no homeopathics tonight... laurie > >Another question....Makana had a worse night two nights ago (after > >three good ones) and then last night was better again. Guest guest
No, no rules that remedies should change often, or even at all. Just go with the main physical symptom or two and (very important) her emotional state.I've found the main reason to change remedies is because the first one didn't work. You want to give it some time to work and once it does, then stop. Don't think you have to immediately give another remedy just because the symptoms subsided or changed. Every 2 days or so? no way to say - it changes when it changes.............. just find the one remedy that fits now, give as directed in my instructions and then follow instructions for changes or stalls..........etc How about Vitamin D3? good luck Sheri >Also, after using 8000 mg vit c, her coughs were much more >manageable last night...they still came on (although a tiny bit less >frequent, but still frequent) but she was able to only cough a bit >and then sort of stifle the cough and not let it get full blown as >much as it used to be.
