Hello,

I am starting to get a bit concerned about my 8 year old. She is vey smart,

active, loving. However, when asked if she loves someone (mom, dad, sister) she

answers with " I don't know. " She is fully aware of how much she is loved, but

not sure how she feels. She used to have certain obsessions, like frequent hand

washing, repeating a phrase. When she is telling me something that she said,

she always starts with " I think I said this, I think I did this. " When I ask

" did you say this? " she answers " I think, I don't know "

I will have an appointment with her pediatric doctor, but am overwhelmed at the

possibility of this.

Does anyone have any guidance/experience about where to start?
