Holy shit! That's over the line for me! I know Oz is not America but dammit,something needs to be said.I always admired the Aussies for being a seemingly gritty group of folks.This is a battle I would fight with them. Hi all,I had a very hostile interview last night with a radio announcer on Perth radio 6PR ( Sattler normally does this show but he is ill). The topic was the ability for one doctor - at his or her own discretion - to apply for a court order that would take away a parent's right to choose whether or not their child should be vaccinated. The interviewer actually said that parents who say no to vaccines do not have their child's best interests at heart and that the doctors and the courts know better. He also said that it is wrong to help parents to protect their children by giving them a safe place where they can hide from such illegal and immoral activities. Hi, Meryl, I'm so sorry you ran up against such a wicked person, but I believe you sounded very good.  I agree that everyone has a duty to uphold the law, and just because a judge signs an order doesn't make it constitutional.  I wish some of these " authorities " would admit that no one, including a judge, has the right to trample our constitutional rights, especially when they are not even acting in the best interests of the child.  I couldn't agree with you more, and I'm an attorney.  I'm not currently practicing, as I'm now staying at home raising my three small (unvaccinated, uncircumcised) children.  I've been in these types of arguments with jerks myself (surrounding issues other than just vaccines) where I've become totally frustrated with their inability to recognize the importance of following the law first and foremost.  They seem to believe that a judge's signing an order, which contains falsehoods, overrides our constitutional rights.  It's very upsetting to me, knowing that our children/animals are everything to us and nothing to them (the government), and we truly only want what is best for them.  They are only interested in making money.
