Hi there I applied in 1999 for SSDI due to CMT and was approved immediately.

I live in Arizona but SSDI is federal so the rules are the same in any

state. Hope that helps.

Hi, my Mother has been on Social Security Disability for at least 10 years

because of her CMT. She actually just had a review of her SSD. Good luck.

I have CMT and was approved in Nov of 2003 for SSDI.

Thats good to hear. I applied in January after having an accident here with

the electric saw. I listed, my thumb, CMT and osteoarthristis and being

diabetic. Said it would be 120 days before I heard anything. Right now I am

getting a little help from Social services. But recovering ok so far
