Guest guest
I've been trying to do a little research on this topic and hoping someone out there can answer this question. Aborted fetal cell lines are used in vaccine manufacture. They are also used in taste research. Senomyx uses HEK-293 to "isolate human taste receptors." However, unlike in vaccines, those cells are not used IN the product of artificial flavors. But here is the question about any aborted fetal cell lines. In researching this, it is clearly stated that the fetal tissue was only removed after the fetus was dead. But I'm wondering, would dead tissue be of value? Or is it a technical thing where the fetus is not viable, but somehow the tissue is not dead yet?I mean it seems to me, that they're trying to say, hey it was OK to do, because it was already dead. But on the other hand, was it 5 secs dead, so that makes it OK? I read a paper put together by the Catholic Church, and the paper said, that excuse was not considered ethically acceptable by the Nuremberg court trials. Although the courts did allow the use of HeLa cells, which is ethically questionable too.Anyway, does anyone know the procedure for how these tissues would be harvested, or where I might find that information?Sorry to be so morbid. Just don't know who else to ask.
Guest guest
Isn't it a problem to have human cells injected into other humans a problem? Regardless of where the cells come from? > > > > I've been trying to do a little research on this topic and hoping someone out there can answer this question. Guest guest
I am a christian and anti abortion. For me the use of tissue is unacceptable. However, I find that most christians who are also pro-life just block up their ears and vaccinate with vaccines that contain the tissue anyway. I also find vegetarians and vegans who are anti animal cruelty will also find reasons to vaccinate.
