Guest guest
> > Hi, I'm - and just joined the group! I've been drawn to scent since I was a child (to the point people think I'm weird about it!) and my passion has grown with me. I find natural perfume particularly intruguing and hope to learn from the group (and hopefully in time be able to contribute too). I've had no formal training in fragrance crafting and am a bit daunted by you pros out there, so I might be a bit shy at first... > > I live in Sydney, Australia so if there's anyone else down under give me a shout! It sounds like you have found the one place where you can talk about smells and people won't think you are weird. LOL! We are all a little weird here, especially today, hahahahaha (spooky laugh!) Guest guest
hi cat, i bet you feel better for having a name to your High BP. i started having real problems in feb 06 and i was told i had conns in 2007... last week i had an operation to have my left adernal gland remove... my BP was a bit iffy but seems to be settling down now. email me anytime> regards rose Hello! Not sure how I stumbled across this, but here goes! I've been diagnosed with conn's since 2003'sh, after a year of supremely high BP (average 180/110 but hitting the heights at somewhere around 200/140. For most of that I had been signed off work which was great as I didn't feel " ill " - just that swooshing feeling when the bp was taking over! Anyway I argued my way through cardiology and obsessed over my diet until they finally sent me to endocrinology where i was practically diagnosed ont he spot by my fabulous consultant. I've had all the tests, and have a leftside adenoma which is about 11mm. Currently on spirinolactone - reasonably tolerated and not considering surgery. It's good to find others - and look forward to hearing about other experiences. ___________________________________________________________ Want ideas for reducing your carbon footprint? Guest guest
Hi there .. You can get a SCOBY by letting an amount of finished KT sit in a quiet, room temperature spot for two to three weeks. Do not move the container during this time or it will disrupt the newly forming SCOBY. I did this once in a wide mouth pint canning jar. If I did it again I would start with at least a quart jar as much evaporation takes place over three weeks time. Be sure that the container is properly covered with a paper towel, a coffee filter, a cotton hanky or some such like. Cheesecloth will not do as the weave is too loose. When the SCOBY is thick enough, the remaining liquid KT will be quite acidic and make a wonderful starter fluid for your first brew. Hope this helps...let us know if you have anymore questions! Gayle Hello! > Hey, > I was wondering if anyone could let me know how to start a scoby(kombucha > mushroom) without an existing scoby. Guest guest
Hi and EveryOne, You need either a Kombucha Colony or fermented Kombucha tea, preferably both to make Kombucha. If you have finished Kombucha Tea you need to make sure it has not been pasteurized or treated with anything to preserve it. If you have raw fermented Kombucha tea you can use a regular kombucha recipe and add the fermented Kombucha tea and it will make a Kombucha Colony and some KT after a week or two. For the time present I have started from herbal infusions and tinctures. A warm welcome Natalya It is wonderful to have all these passionate like minded souls part of the group from all over the planet. What part of Russia are you from? Do you speak English or do you translate? There is so much for you to learn in the files and archives... and some wonderful photos too.... Great to have you onboard. Guest guest
and Donna thanks so much for your kind words. Grandma's heart function has improved some, so things are looking up, still shaky but up. Donna so sorry to hear about your coworker's passing. Its been rough summer for many. We lost three at our office right in a row. We have about 200 employees. Two I occasionally worked with, one of whom was my age. The third I saw everyday several times a day and he was just an incredible man. Heres to better days! a

Guest guest
Welcome, ! I'm , and my weight has fluctuated too. I was once at 235, got down to 165, now I'm around 215 and I'm sick of it too. I teach Turbo Kick at 24 Hour Fitness and am one of the bigger instructors. I'm now seeing a personal trainer who is also a professional bodybuilder to try and help me get my weight down and build some muscle tone (I'm more of a cardio person) Anyway, please post often and review the workouts you do! New people are joining all the time and not everyone has done Tae-Bo, believe it or not. And for those of us that have, it's always fun to hear someone else's slant on it Cheers!
