Guest guest
I have read that hypoallergenic formulas contain a lot of MSG hidden as "glutamic acid" . My daughter is sensitive to MSG and was prescribed pregomin for 2 years since pediatric allergy doctors claimed breastfeeding would not suffice for her growth , she needed formula. She had horrible reactions during the time. However, the companies insist that glutamic acid has nothing to do with MSG but a natural amino acid that also exists in tomatoes and doctors also claim MSG is different than glutamic acid. Guest guest
Yeah, I contacted Pacific Foods about their chicken broth too, because it said it had autolyze yeast or something like that and they insisted it was NOT msg...I don't buy it any more though. I buy International brand but I buy the low sodium one, which doesn't have anything like that listed...
