Guest guest
Hello. I've been on neurontin for 3 1/2 years now (time flies!!!) and I'm just now beginning to overcome the forgetfulness and spacey feeling it gave me. Recently I changed my dosage to one 300 mg capsule three times daily, where previously I took two twice daily. That seems to relieve the forgetfulness quite a bit. ly, I don't know what neurontin does for me, but it certainly makes life more tolerable! It seems as though I'm always in pain, which drags me down. A cup of coffee and a neurontin helps me push on and feel better about life. I'm sure it's due to the effect it has on my nerves, reducing the intensity of the discomfort. So... for me I'd say it's more of an antideppressant, and yet I can see how it could be a depressant for others. It is not fun to be forgetful. I'm not advocating coffee use, but for me I'm afraid it's a necessary evil. We all have our weaknesses I guess. I've heard that neurontin doses can go up to 3600 mg daily. It seems hard to believe 300 mg total daily could be effective in any way. Danita
