Here we have a 'skeptic' who was unhappy with the recent excellent coverage of the Italian court case in which compensation was granted to a family whose child was made autistic by the MMR injection. To the best of my ability to read what said 'skeptic' has written, he doesn't think that this should have been covered in the newspaper despite the fact that the journalist simply reported what had occurred - it was not an opinion piece. He then asked for her permission to reprint their private conversation. She denied him that permission and he did it anyway. 'Skeptics' and 'respect' - mutually exclusive. It gives an interesting (though frightening) insight into the working of the 'skeptic' mind.http://jdc325.wordpress.com/2012/06/23/sue-reid-on-mmr-in-the-daily-mail/All the best,

Wow. I have just started reading the comments…unbelievable. People still take Offit as gospel huh? But Wakefield is evil for working on another vaccine?? My eyes were literally popping out of my head when I saw the Offit/Gerber reference. Looney Tune style. Okay, so we can see the corruption in Wakefield but a man that holds a patent for Rotavirus and has conflicts of interest coming out his ears, he's good as gold?!
