Guest guest
Haven't started with the deadlifts (at least the Olympic style from the floor--I've done the Romanian style from standing to back parallel to the floor and back up to standing) That's one of my long term goals for this year (to do the classic deadlift from the floor). In the meantime I want to get to as good of form as this old body will do and start adding weight on the squats--I'm starting with the bar and went to 155---next time 185---then if form is excellent on the work sets, I'll move to 225. I've got the strength to go higher but I don't want to rush and compromise form. Slow and controlled descent and a power lift. I'll do them as the first 5 sets in a regular LBW day, then follow with hack squats on a machine. Then on to the hamstrings. Progress continues. Lot's of opportunity for accomplishment. :=) Kit
Guest guest
Hi - I'm new and have been lurking but I have seen Bill - full bodied- and he looks good any way you look! I have the Body For Life video that was sent out a couple of years ago, but still, I'm quite sure he hasn't changed!! Bill I can honestly say I don't believe I've even seen a total body shot of Bill. Just his upper body (not that there's anything wrong with THAT) so if anyone wants to lead me in that direction feel free...also I wouldn't have a problem with staring at him even if he was of a different persuasion. I have, however, seen his brother . Yow-za.

DH and I have talked about what we want our bodies to look like and we both just think people look better if they're slim (not skinny), athletic, and with good definition. We go for that " natural healthy " look not the " weight lifting god/dess " look Serenity

Guest guest
Bill I have a lot of those fine art molds and I find they take more time than they're worth. Don't get me wrong.....they're beautiful. But a lot of them are SO detailed you spend more time getting them done than the money that you can get for them when trying to sell them. Did I say that right? I always tried using different colored soap " poured " into the details. I have seen people discussing pouring a say solid white soap and then " painting " the picture of the soap but even that (if it works) is time consuming. Then after all sometimes I have a hard time getting them out of the mold. I've done the " Iris " a few times, which isn't toooo bad. But some of the more " picture " type ones are a pain. Just my opinion. Re: RE: Re: What have you made lately? I have been playing around with different ways to color the details on the bars from the fine art molds. I just posted 3 pics of the most recent bars. Guest guest
Your'e right about it being a pain. At least at 1st is was more than now. I mostly make them up as they are ordered and get an extra $2.00 for each one without any problem. It takes only about 10 mins. now for each bar except for the ones I drop while trying to put in the drier. >I have a lot of those fine art molds and I find they take more time than >they're worth. Guest guest
Oh my God. Wow again. Another person who has been to Ilion???? Yup, we used to have a lot of Nice N Easy Shops around the valley. Weren't they owned by the Bull Brothers? Or did Bull Brothers buy the company from Herkimer Petroleum? I think most of those shops are now called FasTraks. I don't know who owns them. It may still be the Bull Brothers Corp. Anyway, thanks for letting me know that there are other people in the country that know where I live. (lol) RE: Attn: Hi , I know where it is too. Even been there a lot. At one time I worked for Herkimer Petroleum managing a Nice N Easy shop. Wow. Somebody that actually knows where Ilion is, and on top of that......has actually been here. Guest guest
Hi Bill Thanks for the GENEROUS offer. I don't know where you're heading (if you do go) but I only live about 5 miles from the Herkimer Exit on the Thruway (I believe Herkimer is Exit 30) but don't quote me. IF you do decide to take a trip Sunday, that would be great. And as long as you were going to bring the DPG I might as well have you bring a (100) count bunch of the 11 " incense sticks, too. The natural color is fine. But please don't go out of your way with this because it's not that important. What I could do is give you my phone # and if you have a cell phone you could call me when you're at or near the exit. It would only take me about 8 minutes to get there. Or there's a Denny's Restaurant just yards down the road from the Thruway Exit. Either one is fine with me. You don't happen to carry the zip-lock baggies to sell your finished incense in, do you? I just remembered I never bought any of those. If not, that's no biggie. You can email me privately if you'd like to set this up. My addy is jmurray2@... Thanks, Bill. Murray Re: incense making Hi , As far as I know the craft stores don't carry the DPG. If you would like some without paying the shipping, I'm heading out west on Sunday to make deliveries, if the ribs aren't too sore. Plus you can get the 10% discount. You can use most any fragrane oil, whether it be for candles or soap. The water solouble fragrances are the ones that will not work very well. Mixing is anywhere from 1 to 3 parts DPG to 1 part FO. Depends on how strong the FO is. I mostly do the 1 to 1 mix. From everything I've read you need DPG to dilute the fragrance oils. Do any of you know whether AC or s carries it? I know it's pretty cheap and hate to spend as much to have it shipped Question: Can you use the fragrance oils we buy to put in our soaps? It doesn't have to be special oil for scenting, does it? www.saratogascents.com www.soapsuppliesandcandlesupplies.com bill@...

That sounds like it may work......just hold your breath that the price of gas doesn't go up much more. The price here in Ilion is now at $177.9/gal. Guest guest
Bill Gee, that would be great. Did you receive the " real " one in the mail like I should've gotten? I cannot BELIEVE that we have to chase around to do what is required by law in order to comply. And on top of that they FINE you if you don't do it. What a crock this is!!! The thing I hate about using my fax machine is that it uses the same phone # as my home phone #. I don't have a separate phone line for it. So now I can't even answer my phone all day (if I remember how this thing works) because it may be the fax coming through and I think that it would not work if I answer the phone. If I don't receive it by 3:00 PM I'll probably never get it because my teenager will be home from school and the phone rings non-stop after 3:00. So.....if I don't get it by say 9:00 PM, could I give you a call at home and set something up with you to fax it to me? Re: RE: TAX INFO - If you don't the form by tonight from the fax service, I can fax you a copy of the ones I have if you are interested. Bill told me about the FAX HOTLINE. You call this # and when it asks you for the 5 digit code for the form you need you enter 17128. I have a fax machine so I called and did it. But it tells you depending on how busy they are, it can take hours to receive. I did it 20 minutes ago and haven't gotten anything yet. I'll let you know if it works. Otherwise, I'll have to wait until I get my " live " copy in the mail. What a bunch of horsesh_t!! Our tax dollars at work www.saratogascents.com www.soapsuppliesandcandlesupplies.com bill@... Guest guest
Thanks for the link to Everclear. Are you POSITIVE that we can sell toiletries using Everclear legally? If so, when you make labels for the items....say body spray, how do you label Everclear? This is all new to me because I thought it was illegal to have it shipped to us New Yorkers. Re: Vodka question-Dee Well I couldn't find it in my files. No surprise to me, but here is a link to a place that sells the Everclear and will ship to you. Guest guest
Yes. As far I know. I checked with NY Liquor auth. back when I was purchasing the grain alcohol from a company in CT. You can not resell the alcohol in it's present form, but once it is incorporated as a componet of something, no problem. You wouldn't use the name Everclear for labeling. That's the brand name of the alcohol. I think you would have to use the chemical name or just alcohol, depending on how technical you wanted to be. Some list it only by the (INCI?) name. I figure if Avon can get away with not using the technical names on the labels of a lot of their products, we shouldn't have to much of a problem. Bill Thanks for the link to Everclear. Guest guest
Bill I'm glad to hear that the radiation seeds procedure was available where you are like my father had. Just keep telling yourself " it worked for 's Dad and it's going to work for me. " From what I've heard since my father had it done, they've had GREAT success with it. Don't push yourself physically and give yourself permission to rest, rest, rest!!! And don't beat yourself up over the insurance issue. As long as you are attempting to make minimal payments on bills, they can't harass you. You'll get through it. Believe me. Bless you RE: OT-Cancer- & All Thanks all for your thoughts. That's the same treatment I'll be starting Friday. Last November when I left my full time job, I decided to not continue the health ins. Never needed it before. Guess that wasn't too smart, but I started planing yesterday on ways to gear up for this and today they start. I'm out of here for now, to get it going, and hopefully it's onward and upward! Bill he's doing great. His treatment involved having radiation seeds > implanted where > the cancer was.
Guest guest
Hi Bill: As far as Anti-Anxiety meds i have taken Lorazepam it is very good but also is highly addictive, Then everytime i didn't take the med after a while i would get the same anxious feeling so the doc put me on Clonazepam which is generic version of Clonopin and i still take that and never got addicted to it and i swear by it. Good luck. As far as burning sensation it coulc just be anxiety or have your eps check your leads if you are getting paced often. But i think it is anxiety. Good luck. TURK Bill Bill, I highly recommend getting some anti-anxiety medication, like Lorazepam. Taking one when you're feeling very anxious, and just knowing that you have it and can take it if you want to, was very helpful to me, and still is although I've had an ICD for 5-1/2 years.janet_________________________________________________________________MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virusPlease visit the Zapper homepage athttp://www.ZapLife.org

Guest guest
Hey Bill Thanks for the info. I'd never been to either one of those sites before......interesting!! I got looking around The Chemistry Store site and came across what sounds like the same product (F/O Modifier) as WSP offers. It's a lot cheaper, though. I think I'd like to try that product because then I could use MANY of my f/o's and not have to buy " special " f/o's for water based recipes. Now here's another question. On their site they offer SD 40 for perfume/cologne blending. It's been a long time since our group discussed this subject of making perfumes or colognes. I can't remember exactly what it was that was always needed to make colognes but I know it was SOME kind of alcohol that us NYer's couldn't get. People were always saying to use vodka in place of it but I don't think that that's legal either. Is it SD 40 that we can't get in NY or am I thinking of something else? If it is SD 40 and since this company sells it, does that mean that we can have it shipped to us in NY? Comments from anyone else besides just Bill would be greatly appreciated!! Re: Question time Hi , Don't know about the ingredient to make the fo's mix, but here are two links to sites that carry the water based fragrances, if it will help. www.duckiescrafts.com/waterbasedfragrance.htm www.chemistrystore.com/Soapscents.htm They should work if you type em in just like they are. If not let me know, and I'll have some more coffee before I try and think again. Bill

I don't have time to play around on the internet for jokes, if you know what I mean. So I only forward on the ones that I find amusing. I sent the Tide one on to my husband at work and warned him that if he saw me come in the house with a box of Tide to run for the hills. (hehe) Re:Words Women Use - Hey , That's good.
