Guest guest
Well I have been trying the humor bit lately. Doc told me it would be good. In fact we had a little humorous go round in his office. Well, a couple of the "older" gentalmen in the complex have come down to sit and speak with me to help ease the lonelyness. So, being the dirty old lady that I am I continued the conversation that the doc had with me. I never laughed so hard as how quickly the guys took off. Humor is good. Guest guest
sending again. Hi, I am new here, and in need of some help.... Hi, Our Son is 3 1/2yrs old and has 78 degs curviture of the spine. He has been in Braces and body casts since he was 16 months old. We will be visiting the Shriners Children Hospital in Erie, Pa. on November 6th in hopes of getting a new type of body cast that will reduce the curviture enouph that he will not need the surgery to implant metal rods in his back. This is an xray of my sons back taken on 09-06-06. http://flickr.com/photos/wam86/261636917/ My wife and I would like to know of any good questions that we should be asking that we have not all ready. Just wanted to let you know that please do not feel bad because you brought him for inpatient treatment! There are limitations for outpatient treatment and I am sure you did everything you were able to do. It is the most important thing that he gets the help he needs and hopefully this will help him to get back to a more normal life. Also, it is not unusual to medicate and sedate people who are in a crisis. That always sounds so horrible but it is not to make him " just be quiet " but to give him a rest from all his stress! sabine justlivey <justlivey@...> wrote: Hi, Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. He has been there since Tuesday and we still know nothing. He had to be completely sedated yesterday in order to get an MRI. First time they tried he screamed when the noise started and begged to get out. Blood was drawn on Wed. but no tests back yet. I had no idea a PANDAS test could take so long. He gets a four hour pass out of the hospital today so we are leaving soon to pick him up. He will be suprised to see his four year old sister, those two are so close. I think we will take him out for lunch. I am so thankful for a wonder group of friends that I have met on this site. Please continue to pray. Just be glad it's a butterfly and not a caterpillar. those caterpillar tractors are a lot bigger, make noise and emit gasses that will ruin your social life unless you really like farmers and their dirty boots. On a more serious note, welcome to the group. this is wghere everyone who has an AICD should be, simply because the feedback is from those who have been there and had that done to them. There are a few people besides Duffy and Turk who are absoluytely outstanding as guides through the dark days of zapperdom. Mike Hiranuma is a wealth of technical knowledge combined with comforting common sense, and Lightningpaw (Stacie) has been a true inspiration to us old guys and gals since she was but a sixteen year old. Like Mike, she has a huge amount of knowledge from personal experience that belies her young years. Then there are the Guins and and Berccas and all the others who jump in to make us all feel good because they've gone through it themselves. After you've been in the group for a while, they'll warn you about my bad jokes and worse puns. Hopefully I won't offend anyone, but if I ever do feel free to tell me off. I would certainly benefit from that. I'll strill do "my thing," but I'll be more careful. Guest guest
Hi Bill Why would you have to do tx for 2 yrs??..48 to 52 weeks is the norm..just wondering..thanks, Patty my tests I think my liver doctor after this next Biopsy will know for sure what is happening and he will tell me good or bad. My internist knows addmittedly nothing about liver disease or HEP C he is just talking about my physical condition based on everything elese but my liver and my condition necessary to do TX and nothing more. I'll know the answer on 9/11When my Liver specialists from Hopkins reads the slides and tells me where I am . For all I know I could be on my last day or my first I don't know .If its bad its bad nobody lives for ever. but if TX will even give me a break maybe I will do 2 years and probably take my first shot on the 12th. I hope everything is getting better God Bless you Cecelia , Bill ps good story : This gives you goose bumps An Angel Walked the Beat Tonight A drunk man in an Oldsmobile They said had run the light That caused the six-car pileup On 109 that night. When broken bodies lay about And blood was everywhere, The sirens screamed out elegies, For death was in the air. mother, trapped inside her car, Was heard above the noise; Her plaintive plea near split the air: "Oh, God, please spare my boys!" She fought to loose her pinned hands; She struggled to get free But mangled metal held her fast In grim captivity. Her frightened eyes then focused On where the back seat once had been, But all she saw was broken glass and Two children's seats crushed in. Her twins were nowhere to be seen; She did not hear them cry, And then she prayed they'd been thrown free, "Oh, God, don't let them die!" Then firemen came and cut her loose But when they searched the back, They found therein no little boys, But the seat belts were intact. They thought the woman had gone mad And was traveling alone, But when they turned to question her, They discovered she was gone. Policemen saw her running wild And screaming above the noise In beseeching supplication, "Please help me find my boys! They're four years old and wear blue shirts; Their jeans are blue to match." One cop spoke up, "They're in my car, And they don't have a scratch. They said their daddy put them there And gave them each a cone, Then told them both to wait for Mom To come and take them home. I've searched the area high and low, But I can't find their dad. He must have fled the scene, I guess, and that is very bad." The mother hugged the twins and said, While wiping at a tear, "He could not flee the scene, you see For he's been dead a year." The cop just looked confused and asked, "Now, how can that be true?" The boys said, "Mommy, Daddy came And left a kiss for you. He told us not to worry And that you would be all right, And then he put us in this car with The pretty, flashing light. We wanted him to stay with us, Because we miss him so, But Mommy, he just hugged us tight And said he had to go. He said someday we'd understand And told us not to fuss, And he said to tell you, Mommy, He's watching over us." The mother knew without a doubt That what they spoke was true, For she recalled their dad's last words, "I will watch over you." The firemen's notes could not explain The twisted, mangled car, And how the three of them escaped Without a single scar. But on the cop's report was scribed, In print so very fine, An angel walked the beat tonight On Highway 109. "He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare ." The specks you are seeing are not insects, more likely fungal in nature or biproducts of an infection or infestation. Are you being treated internally? The cleaning and heating will calm the symptoms temporarily, but you also need to treat chronic infections. There was a study recently that said that even some dust mites can carry Bartonella, but I had Lyme Disease pre-existing birdmites. It may be that when we got the infestation that we got the Bartonella later because my symptoms changed after exposure to the mites. (I am just speculating here)... so it is possible to have just Bartonella without the Lyme. Cats carry Bartonella, but I've also heard that some " bacteria and fungi " are jumping species. Maybe Krys can answer why they are jumping species, or maybe they have always done that to some extent.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>________________________________>>>From: " Cecilia Borg " <ceciliaborg@...>>>>bird mites >>>Sent: Friday, October 14, 2011 1:04:47 AM>>>Subject: Re: Aggi>>>>>> >>>No, we didn´t.
