Guest guest
Grammy Pat That is a wonderful story. How lovely you must have looked. Perhaps I too will enjoy a variation of your story. My wedding dress lasted longer than the husband, but I know my son and my cat would be impressed! Not to mention me. Again congratulations to you on the weight loss and what sounds like a great marriage. Marie

Guest guest
Vicki - everyone is different. Where it freaks me out, it may be nothing for someone else. Also, while it did hurt, the pain subsided very quickly. I dont know how far in they go...and thats partly because I didnt want to know....if you know what I mean. I would not worry about...here I am and I know I dont like it but I did not fret over it. Its just part of the whole package of " stuff " . ) Marcella

One is a little longer (deeper) than the other. I think they were about 12 to 18 inches overall, but that included the external portion and suction bulb. When Dr. K. pulled the first one, I had a moment of discomfort, but not any real pain. That is caused by the suction as the tube comes out, and I think it was the deeper of the two. The second came out without any kind of discomfort. However, each person reacts differently. I had heard that pulling the drains would hurt. In my case it didn't.
