I have an odd problem for a woman, I have no hips. And

almost no butt, one of my friends calls me a " spine

sitter " .

I carry my weight in the middle. Is there any way to

use LifeLift to shift the distribution of my fat to

give me a sexy hour glass shaped figure?

Thanks,

J

Hi Jet,

I think you are not as odd as you think. I have actually had many come to me over the years with the same situation. Our media has made us think that we are all supposed to look alike.

Here is our plan.

You will work extra moves to lift and firm your hind end to give it more shape, My personal favorite is the pelvic tilt, standing or on the floor.

You will focus when you do your lifts to really tuck your lift up high, really bring in the lower abdomen so that we can whittle down the waistline. Another good thing is to do stretches where you reach your arm over your head and bend to the side, do about 10 on each side, really stretch out the muscles in your side.

Do some presses to lift and firm your breasts to give more definition. My favorite is to get into the prayer position and push or grip your hands together and pull.

Try these for awhile and when you are working out, in your mind, focus the body parts you are working and imagine in your mind that they are exactly the way you want them. I like to do silly little affirmations when I am able to talk, when I am not breathing, during my workouts. I may start at the beginning and say, I have beautiful firm, shapely legs, I have a tight firm shapely body. I will repeat it about 9 or 10 times. It is amazing what the mind can do for you if you can convince it that you are as you want to be.

Take care, Rashelle

Hi Dee and everyone,

Yes, I do stress visualization. I devoted one whole hour tape in my Victory Theory series to the subject. I call it daydreaming, because for some it is a much easier concept to grasp.

Whatever you prepare for in your mind is what you will get in the long term. I have worked with children with tumors who have learned to create games in their heads where they would dissolve or destroy the tumor, by blasting away at it with rocket ships, later we would find out that the tumors had disappeared. I spent my childhood daydreaming about living in a beautiful castle, about having beautiful strong healthy legs, rather than accepting the crippled, emaciated ones I had at the time. Now in my mid fifties I live in a beautiful castle that looks exactly like my daydream in every way, and I now have the legs that I always dreamed of.

When setting your goals, or creating your dreams in your head remember that you have to add faith to the mix. If one asks for success but prepares for failure, he will get the situation he has prepared for. I always worry when someone asks if there is a money back guarantee on the video, because I fear they are setting themselves up to fail. My response is that I will do anything and everything to help you succeed, but you must decide that you can and you will first. Without your commitment to success, and your faith that you can, I am worthless to you. I am so in love with these lists because they encourage others to believe in their own dreams and help each of you to see yourselves as winners before hand. Each success first must begin in your head.

A perfect example of complete faith is a woman I worked with who decided that she was certain she could achieve the goal she had set for herself because she believed totally that she had found the tools necessary with Life Lift and the other things I provided her with. She was so certain she bought a dress in the size she wanted to be and hung it in full view in her closet, so it was ready to wear. She did reach her goal and has maintained it for almost 10 years now, through faith in herself, and in her choice to use the Life Lift program.

I believe in all of you and I know that you can achieve your goals and dreams. My greatest wish now is that I can help you get there. You can't fail, because I believe totally in your success, it is part of my daily daydream that you all get there and I get to sit here smiling like a proud Mamma.

You can and you will become what you want to be and I will be right here with you all the way!

Hi Rashelle and all,

I notice that you stress visualization techniques. I'm a great believer in mind body medicine also. It is truly amazing the illnesses the mind can cause and how just a change of perspective can cure many things. One of the most wonderful books I've read and used is "Healing Back Pain" by Dr. Sarno. His methods really work for back, and joint pain, tendinitis, arthritis, etc. Also Louise Hays book, "You can Heal Your LIfe" is wonderful.

I worked in the natural foods industry for years and could really see the effects of victimized thinking especially in the areas of allergies and supplements. I personally take no supplements but eat an 80 to 90% raw food diet and daily visualize my food reviving my cells. I've only eaten this way in the last two years, but have been doing the visualizations and other mind body techniques for many years. I believe our circumstances and emotions create our life and we have the power to change all of that in an instant. Consequently I haven't had even a cold for over 10 years.

It has been really nice to add the bodyflex, lifelift and oxycise techniques to this. Now I visualize the oxygen restoring my cells when I do it. I will be 49 years old on Sunday and I feel and look younger than I did at 30. Keeping our bodies and minds in good health is truly the way to go and everything else falls into place.

Dear le and Everyone,

I was reading about this visualization and I remembered when I worked

in a coma program: we specialized in working with prople in comas

after head injuries. In our scale there were 8 levels 1 being the

lowest level of coma and 8 being back to " normal " (the Rancho Scale).

Our unit did levels 2-4 and then 5-7 went to another location.

Anyway, one of the things we would do is find out about what the

person really enjoyed/liked, etc and go with that during individual

therapy time..like one was a SCUBA diver (I am ,too) so we talked

about swmming through the seaweed and clearing it all away so we

could see the coral formations...I would speak softly in this

patient's ear and he would nod or shake his head to yes/no questions.

It was awesome! Also we had one guy who was a veterinarian and I

would go in his room every morning and bark at him until he would

smile...also sing the Purdue fight song as he was pres. of the alumni

association. (boo-hoo...they beat University of Dayton today by ONE

point!)

I personally would like someone to speak in my ear when I am asleep

: " Libby...you are thin....Libby you are thin...Libby you are...HEY!

Libby STOP eating that and do your breathing " ! HA ha!

You know...one of the things about working the coma program: it was

CRITICAL to take these very ill, fragile people and make EVERYTHING

we did fun...it was like being a comedy troupe " on " for the entire

day. It was exhausting and exhilirating at the same time. Years later

there is still a group of us who meet to remember what a neat time it

was in our respective careers.

Have a great day...don't forget to laugh!

Libby, what a great experience you had! I had no idea that there were

8 levels of comas. I had no idea that there were even 2 levels:-) I

have often wondered if people could hear you speaking while they are

in a coma. And if so, can they remember what you say. And I wonder if

they do hear you, if they realize that they are in a coma, or just in

some sort of a dream state. Very interesting stuff. I would love it

too if someone would speak to me while sleeping. I've heard stories of

people that play a tape recorder while they are sleeping and can be

mentally reinforced when they wake up to do whatever it is they are

challenged to do. I wonder if that crosses the line into hypnosis. Or

they just play books on cassette while sleeping. It would be neat to

play instructional tapes on learning another language:-)

Anyway, thanks for sharing that Libby.
