Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I would like to remind everyone that we all subscribed to this list for our own reasons. Some of us need to share in order to stay motivated, while others get motivation from reading what others are sharing. I personally need both. I get stalled at times and need help to figure out how to do something better to reach my goals. I think we all need that or we wouldn't be here. I also get a lot out of offering suggestions to others. My husband is a stickler for words. I on the other hand have a tendency to express emotionally, which can be a problem! I have learned from him it is very important to speak the truth. For that reason, I always try to have good reasons for stating an opinion, if I can, I try to provide a direct quote from my information source. Many times I simply can't, I only know it works for me. We have had many an uncomfortable evening because I said something that was not logical in his mind. Once said, there is no "Unsay" button, if you know what I mean. So, be careful with your words. They really are important. So are your emotions. Hurt feelings take a while to mend. Broken trusts are never mended! My husband also says, "Even a fish wouldn't get into trouble if it would just keep it's mouth shut!" He is usually referring to me speaking when I am angry and not thinking before speaking or yelling as the case may be. :-) My point is this... I am here for motivation. I am motivated by reading others successes and by trying to help as best as I can with the information that I have learned so far. I would like to continue sharing and caring. I also do not want anyone to feel like they can not share. Sincerely,~Karma I actually get a check each month for doing nothing but surfing the net, You can to! Guest guest
Thank you Karma, It is good to remember that words can hurt as much as weapons so it is good to think before you speak unless you are speaking straight from your heart, where only the emotions of caring can survive. If we are not here to give, to care and to support, then we should go to another place where combat is welcome. But to safeguard yourselves, remember how easy it is to hit that delete key, if you see a message from someone who you think might offend you, just use your delete button and go on to the next message.
