Guest guest
Hi - In June I'm hoping to walk / 'scamper' a 1/2 marathon. I'm putting together a training plan that has more to do with cardiovascular training than it does walking or running (probably more pool training, some recumbent bike and walking). I know I can't go into it with fatigued ankles if I hope to finish it. In general I have very strong upper legs so I have that going for me. During much of my life I hiked / walked many miles at a time. I have to travel at a little more than 4 miles per hour which I can certainly do, but doing it for 13 miles will be the challenge. Yes, I realize I will pay for it later. I have AFOs, but lately they are more than my lower legs need. , I think you said you have Mueller braces. Those look perfect for supporting my ankles without weighing me down. I'm worried about sprains, and they sure won't let those happen. I found a place where I can order them. , if those are what you have, do you know what size they are, and do you know what your ankle measurement is? I hope my mind didn't make this all up in thinking you are the one who has these. If anyone else has done an event of this type, let me know how you prepared. Thanks in advance for any help, Danita
