Danita, About 24 years ago I did a 5 mile walk for a fund-raiser. No

preparation. About 3/4 through, one leg started to cramp. I took a

brief break for a thigh massage and then finished the walk. That

evening I could barely move, but after a good nights rest, I was back

to normal the following day. I salute you for going for 13 miles.

Good luck! My maximum range now is 2 - 3 blocks!
