The vaseline will seal the skin and make matters worse. The skin on the neck and face are different from the rest of your body. I wouldn't use olive oil because of the same reason, save it for your salad. I just don't like Noxzema, I think it is too strong for the skin, especially problem skin and combined with the vaseline...a problem waiting to happen. If you have Rashelle's facial wash please use that. It will clean the area and provide some itchy relief as well as treat the cause of the problem. After cleaning, apply the Vit. C. If you want some moisturizing, use the oil-free moisturizer that she has. You can use the micellular solution, but I would wait and use it before bedtime. If you want to go to the drug store and get something there, get a mild facial wash (maybe for sensitive skin, if you can find it) with salicylic wash. This has healing and exfoliating properties and will unclog the pores. Be sure and use a oil free moisturizer for soothing the skin which might appear flaky. Its OK, it takes whatever is clogging up the pores with the flaky skin. Rea
Guest guest
Hi everyone! A while back we were discussing different skin types. Mine happens to be oily. I especially get breakouts out my neck and usually more so as the weather changes from hot to cold and vice versa. The past two weeks have been really bad. With all the little breakouts all over my neck, I look like I have hives, or poison ivy. I put on a 10% benzoyl peroxide and that dried out my neck so bad, that now its extremely dry and itchy and I still have the breakouts. I don't know what to use now. One dries it out to much and the other just readds the oil. I've been using Rashelles Vit C serum and Mirocelluar lotion and vaseline and olive oil and Noxzema. I'm beginning to feel like a salad. Can anyone tell what to use to put the moisture back in but keep the breakouts from coming back? I'm desperate. Wanda in PA

Guest guest
Rae, Why not olive oil? My neighbor was severely burned by molten steel a few years ago and the doctor from the burn unit told him to put olive oil on the burned skin every day after he was discharged from the hospital. Just curious. Guest guest
Rea, Thank you for your advice. I know it must sound terrible to be putting so much stuff all over my neck, but I'm not kidding when I say the skin got dry. It looked like crinkled alligator skin and it was so itchy because it was dry, that I was trying anything I could think of to help heal the skin and stop the itch. I'll continue to use Rashelle's face wash , Vit c and her retinyl lipogel. Maybe using all 3 will help. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Guest guest
Hi Wanda, I am so glad wrote to you about this. The products she advised you not to use, especially the Noxzema and the Vaseline will clog up your pores. She is right on as usual. I am so happy that we have her to respond when I am not on line. Bless her sweet heart. Anyway, if you are still feeling you need more moisture I have options for you for that, but try this first. Let me know if you need more help. You know you can always write to me directly if you need me. Love, Rashelle Be sure to check out all of the great specials available on my web sites. Save $30 on the Large Body Wrap package.
