Guest guest
Barb, I have the same thing happening on my left side. I chalk it up to CMT, but in an indirect way. As I've heard it described, we compensate for weakening muscles by holding our body / limbs incorrectly which ultimately end up causing pain in all joints involved. I would imagine arthritis would contribute to it as well. I think well-chosen orthotics in shoes, ankle braces, or AFOs would all help with this. Just my 2 cents, Danita
Guest guest
Barb, I have had burning feet pain since childhood. Both feet. This is off and on. My right hip pain was caused by a herniated disk - which was constant - until surgery eliminated it. A few years ago I experienced electric jolt/sparks type pain in my left arm - from shoulder to finger tips. I had another EMG/NCV at time with all results in the 'normal range'. After some Neurontin therapy, those sparks are gone and havn't returned. That is all the pain I have had. I do not have arthritis. ~ Gretchen
