Guest guest
Well, the main extent of symptoms exists in my hands. The muscle surrounding the thumb is practically nonexistent. I get cramps across my forearm whenever I do certain things ranging from zipping a zipper to cutting foods. I don't have many symptoms in my legs or feet yet, but I have lost muscle control of my big toe on my right foot. I have broken it several times from tripping over it, which has added to the immobility of it. I have noticed that my right calf is significantly smaller than the left. I read somewhere that hearing difficulty can be related to CMT, but I am not sure of the validity of that. I do have that problem but it isn't actual loss of hearing; its just that when people talk to me, I sometimes cannot understand what is being said to me. It sounds to me that the person is mumbling. I have zero balance, lol I can lose my balance and fall over just while walking or putting on pants standing up. That's about all that I can think of that would be related to CMT, but again I know few specifics of it.
