Dear Gang,

Time for us to pray for Rashelle: for her Dad, for her safety in

travel, for her son in law and wife and children. We all have seen

how this works. And we were reminded we still need to pray for Zeph.

I have not seen her online for several days and we usually IM.

Dear LORD,

We lift up these concerns to you: for Zeph who has been having

internal problems that you would guide her, help her and heal her,

relieve her discomfort and give her that peace that passes

understanding; for Rashelle's father that the radiation would be

effective and as comfortable as possible (guide those docs, please!);

for Rashelle's mother to have a calm and peaceful heart through this;

for Rashelle for safety in her travels; for peace in her heart that

You are in control, for Rashelle's son in law, that the clot would be

safely dissolved or removed; for his wife (Rashelle's daughter) for

calmness, peace, and strength, and for their children to be brave and

understanding; We ask that You hear us Listers although we come from

different backgrounds we have the Love in our hearts, wisdom, and

courage that was planted there by You. We ask this in Your Wonderful

and Powerful Name, Amen

have had two family emergencies come up today and I may have to fly

out at any moment so I am going to spend the rest of the evening

packing in case I end up having to leave right away.

> I just found out that my Dad's Cancer has shown up again and he may

be starting radiation treatments right away. Since I am my Dad's girl

I know he will do much better if I can be there with him so if it is

going to happen I will fly there soon to be with him. I actually feel

very blessed that he has done as well as he has since the doctors

told us about a year and a half ago that he was ready to leave us

then. By the grace of God I have had him this long and for that I am

very grateful. I also received a call a few hours ago that my son in

law has been rushed to the hospital with a blood clot in his head, so

again I may need to leave be there with him and my daughter. I am

waiting to find out how serious this is and what the details are.

Unless I get some huge miracles soon I will be unavailable for

awhile. Either way, I don't feel much like writing right now, so

please forgive me if I don't answer you mail right away.

Thank you so much for the reminder for the prayers. I think what you wrote

says it all and is a wonderful prayer to pray. How bout it all? Lets band

My sweet Libby,

As always you have touched my heart and I am on my knees in gratitude that you are in my life. This is such a beautiful, heart felt prayer and I felt it to the depth of my soul.

Here is an update. My son in law is hanging in there after the surgery to remove the blood clot from his brain. He did not recognize anyone when he woke up from surgery, so we are praying hard that he is not left with irreparable problems. I somehow feel very peaceful and hopeful right now. My daughter does too, and I can only believe that it is because of all of your prayers. I saw a special the other night about the power of prayer. It was wonderful. They said it had been medically proven that those who were prayed for, even if they did not know they were being prayed for, healed faster and better than those without prayer. I also believe strongly in the power of love, and your love is healing my heart right now better than anything could.

I spoke with my Dad's doctor today and he said they are leaning in the direction of radiation instead of Kemo since they feel he is not strong enough to handle the kemo. Again, My whole family feels a peace about this. At the request of my parents, I am going to go ahead with my plans to go to Orcas Island tomorrow to celebrate our 10th anniversary, I will keep in touch with my family from there. I will know by next week if I will be going back right away to be with my family or if I will wait and go as I had previously planned on the 8th of June. All of this is up to God, so I will wait, pray and listen for my answer.

I can't begin to express to all of you how much it means to me to have your love and support and prayers. You are all my treasures. Someone once told me that they knew I would have jewels in my crown when I reached Heaven. I have to say that I already have the most beautiful jewels imaginable right now, all of you.
