need medication help for tremors

Dear Folks,

Hope you all can give me some guidance and assistance. I have CMT and a

significant tremor (spill coffee, etc.) that appears to be part of it. I

have been taking Diamox for the past 7 years with excellent results--or so I

thought. Unfortunately, I have had several kidney stones in the past 3

years with all the pain and agony that goes with it. The most recent was

this past week. Now, the doctor believes the Diamox is probably causing the

stones. I will discontinue the Diamox immediately, which my doc says I can

do without any problems, but also says she knows of nothing else that would

work to control my shakes. Losing this medication is very hard for me. The

Diamox is like a miracle drug for me. Here is the question. Have any of

you out there had this problem? Have you tried other medications that have

helped? Looking forward to your assistance. I have gathered much valuable

info from your postings. Thank you.
