Guest guest Posted September 19, 2006 Report Share Posted September 19, 2006 Good morning Marilyn, Having read, somewhere else, about water and juice kefir, I decided to do some experimentation. I love apple cider. So, I took some of my goat's milk grains (nicely washed) and stuck them in a jar with: apple cider lemon juice (fresh) currants peach slices honey Unfortunately I've lost track of the days since I started this (bad scientist - no cookie). How will I know when it is done? Should the first batch be drinkable - or should it be waste as the grains are just converting? Any ideas?
