Guest guest
This week I met a gal right here close to me that has CMT. She was diagnosed as a teen. I was so shocked, you see her hands are bent and crippled and she is now deaf due to CMT. We never read a lot about hand involement and to see a deaf person whose doctors attribute it to CMT was surprising. She has just become deaf in the last two years. We sat staring at each other and talking. Her hands aren't numb but mine are, my fingers are straight but hers aren't. My legs are numb and I have foot and ankle weakness and dropping, she had foot drop but has lots of feeling in her legs. I guess I'm amazed how much we can all differ with this CMT. Just thought I would share this meeting with ya'll. We are going to get together tomorrow for a vist. I have told her about this group and maybe she can join soon. Cathleen in Arkansas!!!
