Guest guest
Hi all! Every winter my youngest (who is now 4 years old) get's athlete's foot on his cute little feet. It starts once he starts wearing shoes and socks for a majority of the day, and clears up on it's own once it starts warming up and he spends more time barefoot than in shoes and socks. I have always treated it with little to no success with various OTC antifungal creams. I was wonering what ya'll think about applying kefir to his feet before he goes to bed at night to see if it would help? I am an uber-newbie to kefir--just started making it last week with some grains from Marilyn (which took off right away with no problems) and am just looking for ideas. Thanks a bunch and have a good night! Marie

Hi Marie, We had the same problem with athelete's foot. The remedy that worked for us was to replace all socks with 100% cotton ones 0 NO polyester, and switch from tennis shoes made of canvas and not any plastic or non- porous material. That did the trick. As soon as you little one gets home from school, have him remove his shoes and socks and put on new dry socks. It's the moisture that promotes the growth. I've heard that wool socks work too, but we don't have wool around our warm climate area. Hope this helps. Mahlon
Guest guest
Anyone not a member at the off topic chat group just missed my posts on the " cure " for all fungus including the kind that develops into cancer. It's pretty quiet over there so it is not like your inbox will be flooded with e-mails if you join. What gets posted is well worth your time. Guest guest
I apologize, Marilyn but I'm not comfortable with chat groups yet. How do I get to the off topic group please?
