Guest guest
Hello Folks- I know I can buy some through the mail, but I thought it'd be nice to just pick some up locally (at a time and place of donor's convenience, of course, and I'd bring a container). Anybody in San Francisco have milk grains to share with a would-be kefir enthusiast? A tiny bit about me: I've successfully made 5 batches of yogurt recently (2 using a dollop of commercial yogurt, 3 using a reserved portion from previous batch). Most were made with pasteurized organic whole (cow) milk, but my most recent one was made with non-instant whole-milk (cow) powdered milk, mixed a bit thicker than instructions suggest for normal reconstituting. To me, all taste the same (fantastic; just like high-quality unflavored yogurt). Thanks for your attention, San Francisco, California
