Guest guest
Hello. I just received my grains on wednesday so i put them in a ball jar and covered with 2 cups of raw milk. i let it sit with an occasional stir and drained through a steel strainer and spoonrd the grains back into the jar and now covered with 3 cups of raw milk. We went away for the weekens so i put it in the fridge to slow it down? i took it out last night after 28 hours in fridge and now it has been on my counter at room temp for 13 hours. should i strain it now and start over? also, do i rinse the grains in water? Thanks, le
Guest guest
Hiya le! Take a spoon and give your kefir a taste... if it tastes like kefir... Sure! strain it, and drink it and stuff... if it still tastes like milk... let it sit a bit longer, then taste it again (with a clean spoon - heheh no double dipping <winks>) Might take a bit longer, since the grains were in the fridge and that makes them verrrrry sleepy heheheheh Candace Musmeci Newburgh, NY ~Dipping into the Living Well...One product at a time~ what to do while on vacation?
