Guest guest Posted August 5, 2008 Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 Hi, all, and Marilyn I've been keeping my eye on the forum, although as a newbie I have no experience to contribute, but now I do seem to have a problem... My grains have been slowing down. I don't see bubbles anymore, ever, but I do get a very light fermented drink after about 10 days (earlier it's just flat). The grains seem to be a bit more cream colored, as compared to the beginning, and they are not multiplying... I just use spring water, sugar and a bit of dried apple, in a quart jar. What am I doing wrong? What is really strange to me is not to see any bubbles. Could they be tired in the heat? The air is also very polluted here.
