milk kefir and chocolate

I have a quick question. Just for backup, I've been drinking milk

kefir for years and usually mix it with grape juice because I just

can't get the taste for it raw. Sometimes I blend fruit in with it or

use the Dole juices if I don't have any fresh fruit to juice. My

question comes from an experiment I did this morning regarding trying

to make it " drinkable " for my purposes. I don't have any fresh or

frozen fruit or fruit juice to add; so, I added a dash of vanilla and

some cinnamon sugar. That didn't quite do it; so, I added a bit of

chocolate syrup. This did the trick taste wise. I know it isn't the

best of nutritional choices...my question comes here...does the

chocolate in any way negate or harm the cultures in the kefir? This

was just a quick fix for me today, but, I might keep doing it because

it did turn out tasting pretty good.

Thanks in advance,
