Guest guest
It is good he still wants ti play pro basketball and I hope and pray he can. I agree should be supportive of him however we may need to be more supportive if he finds out this disease is to much to play ball. I think the disappointment will be very hard on him. hopes and dreams are okay for me but reality can sure hit me hard as the limitations come. Guest guest
Danita, this has been done many, many times - perhaps before you joined us. He knows is here for him. ~ Gretchen Danita Saunders wrote: > Maybe we can reach out to him to offer resources in his quest.
Guest guest
Hello to all: I received a response from Friesen from the Winnipeg Sun, regarding the article about Todd, Gretchen found and posted last Friday. Mr. Friesen apologized for saying that our condition is rare, and did not want to downplay the seriousness of this condition (CMT). However he has space limitations, and he writes only what is happening to Todd himself, and not others. Also re-stating, docs are not sure of Todd's condition, CIPD, CMT, or even plantar fasciitis (sp?). Well I probably educated Mr. Friesen a litte, I hope, and after all it is a sports column. I intend to now email a similar letter to all papers and TV stations, because they all comment on the " RARE CHARCOT-MARIE-TOOTH " disorder. Take care, aka Sandman
