Guest guest
Hi , You go by taste, not by the looks of the kefir grains to determine if all is well with the grains. Kefir grains grow any which way they want. All is healthy. One exception would be if they break up into a million tiny pieces and you start to lose them through the strainer. Marilyn Good morning, IS this normal ? Since the very batch of making milk kefir, I have used taller glass container .... my grains were big and were not shredding babies ...... now I have moved my kefir making into a wider and not as tall glass bowl. All my big grains have shred into many ones ..... I am wondring if this is normal or if my grains are not healthy?
