Guest guest
My kefir & grains got put in the fridge and froze. I think they are ruined. They had traveled to me through one of our worst storms of the year, getting delayed in the mail. They had thrived like crazy even though they sometimes got chilled. So I tried to make some kefir, and I don't know if what I ended up with is just sour milk. Probably. How can I be sure? Skovo --------------------------------------------- Hi , They are just half asleep from getting chilled. Some of the bacteria that makes kefir taste like kefir got knocked out. They will all grow back when you start making kefir at room temperature again. Every day it will taste a little more like kefir.
