Guest guest
It is amazing how CMT can manifest itself in different ways in different people. Up until I joined this group I thought everyone with CMT had basically the same symptoms but I see that is not the case. In my case I can technically retire in August after 30 years working for state government (I will be 47) and CMT has played a big part in my decision to retire mainly because of pain and fatigue. I intend to stay as active as I am now but it will be nice to be able to get off my feet when I need to and rest when necessary - I've never had that luxury before and I am ready. I know the CMTers with pain and fatigue know exactly what I'm talking about. I have learned so much since joining the group and it has been nice to communicate with other CMTers because the only people I knew with CMT were my father and aunt who has since deceased. Thanks for all the information you provide!
