Guest guest
I have just joined this morning. This site was recommended to me because of the research that comes out and I am very interested in this. I am 42 and was diagnosed with CMT when I was 6 - I never heard much about research, except to " make a donation for research " - but never heard the outcomes. Despite my CMT, I have never let it stand in my way. I have been employed in the education administration field for 18 years and have two terminal degrees. Before that I started out as a kindergarten teacher. I am married to a great guy and we have two boys, 8 and 10. My children do not have CMT for which I am grateful. We enjoy weekend family outings to nature preserves, wilflife habitats and during inclement weather, museums are a great pastime (especially the ones with dinosaurs! lol) Fatigue sometimes hits me hard, but then I suppose most parents are fatigued at the end of a full day of working and caring for a family.
