Question about cow milk versus goat milk

I have some grains now for 2 weeks. Since I have them, I have made kefir with

cow milk (2%). Yesterday, I have tried goat milk. But the " milk " doesn " t look

like kefir and we are close to 24 hours ....... any idea why ????
