- I just have to say - your daughters sound

dreamy! how delightful, my own daughter is only 4 but

already a real little sweetheart.

I am 38 and was diagnosed last February (so it's my

CMT birthday! LOL) My dad and his side of the family

are mostly affected but none really badly. We all walk

and work! Oh and just to say my diagnosis was by a

great neurologist after an orthopeadic referral - my

orthopaedic surgeon suddenly had a lightbulb light

over his head 5 years after operating on my claw toes

when I was referred back to him for 'clawing' fingers!

" mmmm " says he " this is not orthopeadic, it's

neurological.....see no muscle bulk near your thumb "
