Guest guest
Greetings All! Holly from Corpus Christi, TX here. I'm 40 now and have been giving myself a B-12 injection once a week for a few years now, recommended by my neurologist. I use the 3ml 25G 1 1/2 inch needles and inject the hip " muscle " , for the deeper the tissue the better the absorption of the b-12. The nurse went over the procedure and placement of the injection with me several times before I was on my own. It rarely hurts, and even then it's just a mild sting fornot letting the alcohol dry enough first. I give myself 1/2 to 1ml each week. I realize this is more than my body needs, but the excess B-12 is just flushed away and not stored up to do any damage like some vitamins can do. I don't really find it helps so much with the fatigue anymore, but I do believe it helps keep the myelin sheath of the nerves healthy (as has been shown in research studies...or has that been changed, now???). I'm very interested in the Liquid B-Complex supllement I read about from RUTH IN INDIANA. What B vitamins does it contain? How much of the B-6/pyridoxine does it have? How much do you take per day? So, is it the combo that seems to work better than just the B- 12 to fight the fatigue? I am REALLY in need of a fatigue fighter!! Well, thanks for letting me input and thanks for everyone's insights. Many Blessings and Peace, Holly Waters
