Guest guest
Question... are these berries you mention, dryed....I bought some dryed ones here locally and they had/have no taste at all. I am still on the trail of something I really like. So far, dryed black mission fig and 4 day ferment is on top of the list. You want some fizz... try putting in some wedges of fresh organic lemon and waiting about 3 days....watch what you put it in....It takes several tries to get the bottle open without the chanpagne fountain going everywhere. Don Goji berry water kefir I just decanted my first batch of goji berry kefir and I'm very pleased with it. I used 1/4 cup Himalania brand organic goji berries for 2 quarts of water, 1/4 cup evaporated cane crystals and 1/2 cup water grains. The batch fermented in 3 days with quite a bit of fizz. It has a taste somewhere between tart cherries and peaches and is a beautiful light gold color. I'll definitely do this again. ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ More new features than ever. Guest guest
They are a brand of dried Goji berries I get at my local food co-op. They are quite tart. I can't seem to get their site to load but here's their amazon listing. http://www.amazon.com/Himalania-Organic-Sun-Dried-Berries-8-Ounce/dp/B000DT7H7W Re: Goji berry water kefir Question... are these berries you mention, dryed....I bought some dryed ones here locally and they had/have no taste at all.
