Guest guest
, My thoughts are with Spencer. At least they said it will heal better this time. As for what he said about the Vitamin C . . . both you and I are noticing extreme improvements. I don't have much faith in traditional medicine. First, they said there was nothing wrong with me even though I walked late for a child and would never come off my toes. They told my family that my walking problems were all in my head. Second, an orthopedist told me to just use a brace (before diagnosis) to help with a weak ligament. I went somewhere else, had a small surgery and was much better, not needing a brace. Third, I had extreme allergies and they just tried to give me more and more medication . . . I went the homeopathic way and have never had an allergy since without needed to take anything. Lastly, I have had detailed conversations with people who work for a major pharmaceutical company and they flat out told me that they look for treatment drugs, not cure drugs, because it's a better way to turn a profit. While I will agree that there are times to see a traditional doctor, a broken leg definitely being one of them, don't let them tell you anything against what you already can see yourself. You took an ankle brace off, stepped up on a curb . . . I'm walking heel/toe for the first time in my entire life . . . regardless of why, this is working. Don't let them get your spirits down. It may or may not be a " cure " but it is improving our quality of life . . . so YEA!! Back to Spencer, I hope he heals quickly!
Guest guest
Oh - I am so sorry to hear Spencer's leg is broken again! The challenges of raising kids. As long as it heals well that's the important thing. So glad you're having great Vit C results. I've also started to take mega doses. My 29 yr old CMT daughter is pregnant; do you think it would be ok for her? This is her first (surprise) pregnancy. All is going great for her and she's due the beginning of July. We are hoping and praying that he doesn't inherit this gene. I had 2 children and both inherited my CMT. Back to Spencer; how long will he be casted? Good luck....... Barb Fl. Guest guest
Thank you , I have been thinking about what you wrote today. The doctor hadn't even seen the mouse study. I hope to prove him wrong. Thank you jenny
Guest guest
Hi Barb, I think Spencer will be in a cast for about 3 months. Thank you for asking about him. As far as your daughter goes I know the prenatal vitamins always made me feel better. I would have her ask her OB if a little extra vitamin C would be ok. But as soon as that baby was out I'd take a lot of it, hahahah. I sure is helping me.
