Guest guest
Hi , If the kombucha is alive and has not been pasteurized, it will grow a scoby. Fill a jar half way and put on a paper towel lid. Put in a warm place for two weeks. Now you have a scoby plus the starter for your first batch. Add the whole thing to 3 quarts of sweet tea that has been cooled (5-10 teabags, 1 cup sugar) to a gallon jar. Paper towel lid with rubber band. 10-14 days later, you get to drink home brewed KT. Guest guest
This may seem like a silly question. Does anybody know how to mail a scoby and keep it alive? > > I have some kombucha to share. I am in Austin, Tx. Where are you in Tx? > > . > > I live south of Fort Worth.
