raising CMT awareness with MDA

First I want to let you all know that I will be taking part in the MDA Night

Under the Stars Spring Gala in two weeks. I have been asked to be the

auctioneer. There will be a photo and bio in the program that will address my

CMT.

I have offered to help raise awareness for CMT in anyway they need.

The MDA has also agreed work with me on an event I've wanted to plan. I will

give you details as I have them. At this time all I know is that we are

looking for a location for October 23. I want it to be all ages so that kids

are

welcome. It will involve a lot of soap opera actors and some country

musicians. I wanted to make it a music fest since most of the actors love to

sing.

Everyone I've spoken with so far is eager to do it so it should be a great show

and a fun night. (One actor was so happy to be asked to sing that he

immediately told me what he wants to sing!) All the money raised from the

tickets

and the silent auction will go to the MDA, but will only be used for CMT. That

is all the information I have right now but I promise to keep you updated.

I expect to launch a website for the event in the next month. ; )

- why don't you see if you can have your fall event at Universal

Studios? There's both fun for kids and parents there. Lots of space,

stages already there, etc. I did an event there about 10 years ago (not

CMT) but it turned out great. Good parking too
