Guest guest
If you have one clump of grains you could do it that way. BUT - I've found that you get MUCH better, sweeter, thicker kefir if you pull the grains apart into very small pieces. Then you will need to strain them. Dean why strain the kefir I'm asking: why strain the kefir? Is it important? I pull out the clump of grains and dump the rest (along with a banana) into the blinder and there you have it! Please inform me. Thanks.

Guest guest
I strain mine mine because it's easier for me to get the grains that way, and to sort of homogenize the kefir because I don't blend mine in a blender. Your system appears to be working for you so if it was me I'd say " if it ain't broke don't fix it.
