Guest guest
Rita, While I am so sorry about your heart, I am at relieved you apparently got good medical care and attention. I know all too well surgery can be frightening. Two years ago I had major back surgery. I met with the anestheologist before hand, we discussed CMT, any allergies I might have, and my questions. I was put to sleep by injection in my arm. 4 hours later the surgeon was by my side when I woke up, said " I'm done " and I was very awake. No nausea or anything else. Here's some resources on CMT and Anesthesia for you - you can print them and take to the anestheologist if you need to. I wish you all the best, hope you will let us know when your surgery is. ~ G http://www.cmtworld.org/epublisher/publish/article_0052.php http://www.cmtworld.org/epublisher/publish/article_0053.php http://www.cmtworld.org/epublisher/publish/article_0054.php http://www.cmtworld.org/epublisher/publish/article_0070.php
