Guest guest
Hi , Why do you need Ativan for anxiety? I mean, is it directly related to CMT - or is CMT a secondary cause for it? (i.e. CMT has implications for your life that raise your anxiety levels). I ask because I have anxiety problems and I am wondering if it is related in anyway to my CMT. Cheers, Steve
Guest guest
Steve, I wouldn't say it is directly related to CMT. It is the implications from CMT affecting my life that causes the anxiety. When I would get in situations such as in large gatherings where the people did not know me I would start to sweat, especially if I could not find a wall to prop myself on. Or if I had to walk in front of people that I did not know and terrain that I did not know I would almost freeze and have to talk myself into continuing. I believe it is merely a self-image thing with me. I am a very strong willed person and I do not like to let my weaknesses show through. The Ativan has helped greatly, even in the low doses. I guess you might say it has taken the edge off. Hopefully that helps...and I would recommend it. One of the side affects can be drowsiness in higher doses, however I have not experienced that at 10mg. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
