Guest guest
Hi. I am using made-to-order AFOs, which are presumably made of POP. I feel stable in them but if I wear them for long, my feet start hurting. Secondly, I feel the movement of my feet has decreased with them. The person who sold me these AFOs said that these will weaken my muscles over the time as they are stiff and restrict my foot movement. Now, I am trying Dynamic AFOs which are made of carbon and fiber. The brand name is ‘Toe-off’. They are also called energizers and the seller said they’ll exercise my feet muscles. Though I feel a little less stable in these, my feet do seem to feel more ‘alive’. These are way too expensive, as well. And now, my question is, should I stick to the dynamic AFOs for they won’t stiffen my muscles? I am tempted to keep both and use both but this might harm my feet….i am not sure and there is no doctor here I could consult. Any response would be a great help. Chao!
