Guest guest
Just a short note here to bring you up to date. Went back to the MDA Clinic today and seen Dr. Simpson. He sure is mad at the Family Independent Agency who has determined that I have no medical disability by their review board. I asked him if he knew what they do consider disabled. He doesn't know either. But he informed me that he is writing a letter and updating my case and well send me copies ASAP so I can appeal their ruling. He cant figure out their problem either. But he did say, by the time I get done writing this one up, there should be no question as to my disabilities due to the CMT and severed thumb which was reattached. So I am still fighting this one. When I get the papers, a copy well also be sent to SSD who now says I wont get a determination till July, which well make it 7 months from filing. Because of the rate of deterioration which I seem to be going through he is suspecting that I might also have what they call CIDP. So a spinal tap and blood work is in the near future. I well keep you posted on that also. Elaine...Michigan
Guest guest
Hi Elaine- Are you sure your SSD won't be retoactive? Anyone else I know of including my late son did receive a large retro check. Glad your thumb is doing better and things are looking somewhat brighter. Where will you be living once the house is sold? Barb Fl
Guest guest
Hi Barb No the SSD check wont be rectro because there is a 5 maonth waiting time now. If I had been turned down the first time and accepted any time after that time , then the check would be rectroactive. Once the house is sold, I well be going with my sister or daughter, thats still up in the air, depends who lets me bring the dog till I can get myself going again. Take Care......Elaine
