Oregon. I haven't a clue why the new place you've gone to tells you that. It's

rather easy for the technician who builds your AFOs to line them after the fact.

That's how I began having mine lined - after the fact and getting unnecessary

rubbing and chaffing. Take them back and insist on the foam lining.
